Principal’s Message

M M  College of Education, Davangere is one  of the prestigious  Grant in Aid College in the middle of Karnataka   State founded in the year 1970. It is affiliated to Davangere University and is recognized by National Council of Teacher Education. It is offering two year B.Ed program with four semesters.The college has well an equipped library with 17000, volumes of books and 10 educational journals.

The MMCE aims at becoming the best teacher education institution in the Country by proving excellent curricular input, through innovative techniques. It also provides opportunity for slow achievers to improve their performance. The variety of activities aim at serving the various purposes of the institution.

I wish to follow the traditions of my predecessors in keeping up the quality and standards of the college and strive towards the quality progress of the Institution. Working towards excellence in both curricular and co-curricular activities by maintaining High Standard is the of M.M. College of Education. It provides ample opportunities and facilitates to the students to avail and attain excellence in all the areas of teacher education. I heartily  welcome all aspirants to M.M. College of Education, Davangere to shape their academic life as Teachers. Over the years, We have been marching ahead with new ventures and innovations in tune with the changing times.  In 2014 the college was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with B++ Grade and 2.76 CGPA.
